**Job Title: Enterprise Security Architect**
**Location: Edinburgh / Hybrid Working**
**Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + bonus + benefits**

Are you an experienced Enterprise Security Architect looking for your next challenge? If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you. My client, a leading financial services business and a household name with an excellent reputation are currently investingheavily within their Information Security team. As part of this investment, they are building out what will be a best practice Information Security team and are looking to hire an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to join the team.

**Key responsibilities**
- Serve as a senior expert to provide technical guidance and leadership on all aspects of security architecture.
- Take ownership of the Security Architecture for both on and off premise hosting models.
- Lead on the selection of appropriate tools and technologies to keep the estate secure.
- Input into the overall Target Architecture providing specific input from a security perspective.
- Use your experience to proactively provide expert specialist technical advice and consultancy to representatives of the business and other areas of IT in line with the demands of the Strategic Portfolio.
- Be a key member of the Enterprise Architecture community ensuring that security is a core part of our architecture model and keeping the community updated with pertinent security architecture developments.
- Work collaboratively with other architects, Information Security, business teams and project delivery teams.
- Ensure the Security Architecture supports and aligns to the strategy laid out by the Information Security team.
- Provide consultative input to projects to ensure they adopt best practice secure design and adhere to the Security Architecture.
- Represent the business at the global security architecture level. Provide input and feedback on the global security standards and ensure they are fully embedded in the UK.
- Own implementation of best practices for information technology security taking into account latest industry security best practices and new/emerging threats.

**Skills and Experience required**
- Proven experience of operating within a similar Enterprise Security Architect position.
- Deploys strong leadership skills in managing others in the delivery of: Business Cases, Impact Assessments and Architectural Definitions.
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders up to and including Executive level - to build relationships that engender confidence in the technical delivery capabilities.
- Ability to interact and communicate with senior management and IT technical colleagues for the planning, execution, and operational aspects of technical architecture environments.
- Ability to support vendor and service provider management, including negotiations, contract terms and conditions, competitive bidding processes.
- Proven strong experience architecting, building, and administering complex architectures and technologies ideally with a security specialism.
- Up-to-date knowledge of security best practices, vulnerabilities, and mitigations.
- Strong experience within solution and enterprise architecture as well as a strong knowledge of industry standards, principles, and patterns for architecture as well as strong knowledge of domain modelling.
- Familiar with security organisations such as OWASP.
- Good knowledge of security patterns and implementation for both on-premise, AWS and SaaS architectures.
- Attention to detail and results oriented with a string customer focus.
