**The Role**

**Are you used to working outdoors in all weathers? Do you come from a landscape gardening or farming background? If so, we would love to hear from you**

Our Service Delivery Team are looking for a Trainee Garden Works Operative, with a can do attitude, to join our Garden Works Team.

Reporting into one of experienced team leaders you will be working within our Garden Team your to install fibre optic cabling above and below ground, to residential and commercial customer properties.

**Responsibilities**
- Meet customers on site and discuss cable routes that suit the customers’ needs
- Use various methods, including a mini mole plough, to install/lay fibre cables across customers gardens (full training provided)
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with specific Health and Safety policies
- Contribute towards the development of best practice procedures for all activities
- Use information provided to install fibre cabling with mínimal impact on existing services
- Ensure appropriate and timely communication with our customers

**Requirements**:

- Experience full-time work in an outdoor role
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Organised, with excellent time keeping skills
- Be able to work hard unsupervised
- Well presented (work clothing supplied)
- Demonstrates confidence
- Current driving license
- Display excellent customer facing skills
- Mechanical awareness to help maintain machinery (this is not an essential requirement as full training will be provided)
