A conscientious and hardworking **Technical Support Officer **to work within **Facilities Management **at **Lancashire County Council.**

Our welcoming Neighbourhood Centre is looking for an organised and highly responsive individual to ensure the needs of service users and colleagues are met each day. We have a wide variety of tasks that will keep you motivated with no two days being the same, this is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy a challenge. The role of Technical Support Officer is very versatile and diverse, allowing you to develop your experiences within FM, as well as opportunities for progression in the future. Ideally you will have a background within facilities management to have a full understanding of our expectations, however we offer full training and support. You can also take advantage of our fully funded IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) training, which will enhance your knowledge and add another string to your bow.

You will need to be flexible in order to absorb the varying hours to ensure we always have appropriate cover, which can either be 9 to 5 or 8.30 to 4.30.

**Challenge **- The world of Facilities Management is intricate and full of varying requirements, all needing attention and prioritising accordingly - there is a lot to learn about Lancashire County Council itself, grasping where and who to go to for the essential services - you will be a people person with a friendly demeanour, allowing you to develop worthwhile relationships throughout various departments, opening the lines of communication for when assistance is required - we want someone who can be organised and proactive, being able to juggle multiple regular daily tasks as well as any additional issues that may arise

**Service Excellence **- your top priority will always be customer satisfaction ensuring we deliver services in a timely manner leaving an exceptional impression - you will be booking services and dealing with meeting room queries, while being prepared to cover reception duties at a moments notice - we want an astute individual who can deal with an array of tasks from raising purchase orders to putting together a contractor folder; this role is bursting with FM experience - you must have an adequate understanding of health and safety, being able to identify any immediate risks or repairs to keep facilities impeccable
