Caretaker

The Governors at Halton Holegate C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic caretaker to join the dedicated school team.

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth running and safety of the school.

You will be required to understand and operate the school’s security and fire alarm systems and may be required to open and/or lock up after school lettings and events. There will also be an element of outside work maintaining the school grounds and wider site.

There will be a period of induction and safeguarding and first aid training will be required. You will also be expected to take part in routine staff training where relevant.

Contract type: Permanent to start 1st May 2023 or as soon as possible
This post will be for 17.5 hours per week, to be worked 2.30 pm - 6.00 pm each day with some flexibility for opening in the morning during winter terms. This post is for 43 weeks of the year.
