The Governors at Partney Church of England Primary School would like to appoint a Bursar (no supervisory role) to help in the office from April 2023 or as soon as possible after that.
Working with the Head teacher and Governors, you will take responsibility for the operational management of the school finances and coordination of the administration of the school office alongside the office manager.

**The role of the bursar will encompass the responsibilities for**:

- Work to prepare the annual school budget.
- Monitor income and expenditure in relationship to the school budget and produce regular budget updates for the Head and Governing body
- Maintain all school accounts including governor run nursery and prepare income and expenditure reports in accordance with DfE financial regulations,
- Undertake end of year procedures and prepare school fund accounts for submission to the school auditors
- Organisation of health and safety alongside the Caretaker.
- Procurement management: including processing orders and invoices in line with established financial procedures.
- All aspects of HR management including adherence to robust recruitment procedures and processing of staff contracts, induction, absence and overtime expense claims.
- Identifying fund raising opportunities to further generate income for the school and promote our school within the local community.
- Understanding and commitment to safeguarding and the need to protect the welfare of children at all times
