It is a really exciting time to join this leading housing association who have over 10,000 homes, as they are currently going through a merger meaning more opportunities and a growing team

Role: Design Surveyor
Location: South Wales
Salary: £40,725.61

Responsibilities of the Design Surveyor:

Work with the Asset Team to scope and identify future programmes of Investment work
Produce scheme feasibility documents for future projects including obtaining outline project costs and specifications. Ensure that scheme proposals meet the business and Customer needs.
Work with colleagues in Procurement and Assets to ensure that schemes are designed and procured in a timely manner and handed over to the delivery team to enable a successful project.
Work with the Procurement Team using skills, knowledge and judgement to recommend a JCT contract prior to tendering project.
Rationalise data from Asset Management and produce Project Briefs using asset management data and ensure they are of a sufficient standard that enables the procurement of suitable contracts in accordance with the Public Procurement regulations.Benefits of the Design Surveyor:
