About the role:

We are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialisation in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) to join our dedicated team. This full-time position is available due to expansion, offering a competitive salary ranging from £85 to £100 per day, aligning with experience.

The successful candidate will support students across Key Stage 1 and 2, working closely with teachers and SENCO to deliver personalized learning experiences. Our classrooms maintain a small size, ensuring focused attention on individual student needs, with an average class size of 20 pupils.

Application Requirements:

To excel in this position, candidates should have proven experience in supporting SEMH students. Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential. Knowledge of behavior management strategies and a proactive approach to student welfare are key attributes we are seeking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to SEMH students, implementing tailored learning plans.

• Assist in the development and implementation of behavior management strategies.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCO to monitor student progress and provide feedback.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes emotional well-being.
