As a Graduate Design Engineer at this esteemed organisation, you will be stepping into a role that is both challenging and rewarding.
Your new role
In your new role as a Graduate Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of Research and Development (R&D), playing a pivotal part in the New Product Development (NPD) process while also ensuring the continuous improvement of current product lines. Your responsibilities will include managing projects from inception to completion, utilising 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks to create detailed engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BoMs). You will also liaise with international suppliers and maintain comprehensive Product Construction Files including instruction manuals. Overseeing in-house Quality Control procedures will be key to ensuring that all products meet the high standards expected by customers.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must possess a University Degree coupled with experience in using 3D CAD software packages like SolidWorks. A background in engineering, manufacturing or design sectors would be advantageous. Strong project management skills are essential, along with an aptitude for STEM subjects. Creativity, proactivity, logical thinking along with leadership and teamwork abilities are aptitudes that will set you apart.
What you'll get in return
In return for your dedication and hard work, you'll receive a competitive salary ranging from £(phone number removed) per year for your full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week. You'll have the opportunity to work within standard working hours from Monday to Thursday starting at 9 am until 5 pm and an early finish on Fridays at 3:45 pm.
