Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Adult CMHT
Band: 6
Location: Manchester
Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £25.50 per hour

Your Role as a Community Psychiatric Nurse:

As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you’ll play a crucial role in providing mental health care directly to patients in their own environments. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

Patient Visits: Conduct regular home visits to ensure patients' needs are met and provide support in their familiar surroundings.
Medication Administration: Ensure timely administration of medication, carefully managing each patient’s treatment plan.
Patient Interaction: Engage in meaningful conversations to better understand each patient’s condition, offering guidance and monitoring their progress.
Risk Assessments: Perform thorough risk assessments to ensure patient safety, addressing any potential dangers to themselves or others.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Active NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in community mental health care.
Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, even under pressure.
