Network IT & Digital Lead
Contract until 31st March 2025
Inside IR35 - £37 per hour via Umbrella company
Part time role – 18.75 hours per week which can be done over 3-5 days of the week
Hybrid working twice a week in office in Peterborough/Huntington
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network IT & Digital Domain Lead to spearhead the development, strategic coordination, and implementation of IT & Digital initiatives for the ME-5 Pathology Network. This role is pivotal in aligning our objectives with the NHS England Pathology Transformation Maturity Matrix and the local objectives of our Member Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee multi-organisation IT & Digital programs and projects focused on service improvement.
* Plan and allocate organizational resources to support effective program and project implementation.
* Drive business and service planning activities to support strategic objectives.
* Implement change management processes to enhance service delivery.
* Redesign services within health or social care settings to optimize performance and outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven track record of successful delivery of multi-organisation IT & Digital programs and projects.
* Experience in planning and managing resources for program and project implementation.
* Solid background in business and service planning.
* Demonstrable experience in change management and service redesign within a health or social care setting.
Key Skills and Abilities:
* In-depth knowledge of IT, Digital, and health intelligence, including benchmarking and data sources.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act upon complex information from various sources.
* Proficiency in preparing clear, informative, and persuasive reports.
* Ability to hold others accountable and escalate issues when necessary.
* Proven ability to initiate, implement, and drive processes on an organization-wide scale.
* Capacity to meet deadlines and deliver quality work under tight timelines.
* Strong coordination and prioritization skills.
* Competence in budget, staff, and resource management.
* Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills tailored to various staff groups.
* Ability to foster positive working relationships, motivate teams, and use influencing and negotiating skills effectively.
* Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of National NHSE Digital and IT Programs (e.g., DDC).
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
* Familiarity with commissioning, acute, primary care, and community services.
* Understanding of NHS governance structures and processes.
* Knowledge of payment mechanisms between organizations (PbR, QIPP, QOF).
Contract Details:
This is an Inside IR35 contract role, offering remuneration of approximately £37 per hour via an Umbrella company.
