Then my well-established client is looking out for an ambitious and collaborative Civil Engineer with relevant UK industry experience of minimum 2+ years'.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be working alongside a highly skilled group of engineers with vast experience in UK and international projects. Similarly, they will have the opportunity work closely with the directors, enabling them to draw on their expertise directly.

Production of designs for infrastructure, drainage strategies and associated planning schemes to appropriate standards from initial concepts to detailed design.
Production of all design, drawing and documentation associated with underground drainage systems
Production of Flood Risk Assessments
Production of External Works specifications and drawings
Production of private and small-scale adopted highways design and details, along with associated applications, etc.
Assistance in preparation of contract documents and specifications.
Undertaking inspections and surveys, preparation of reports and site supervision of projects.
Manage small projects or elements of projects as appropriate.
Liaise with other professionals, clients, statutory undertakers, etc.

Successful candidate specifications:

BSc /BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
Min. 1+ years’ experience in the drainage and infrastructure design industry in the UK
Experience in preparing and design of underground drainage systems is essential
Knowledge of DCG and relevant drainage standards and guidance.
Ability to carry out cut & fill exercises using Civil 3D is desirable
Experience of using vehicle tracking software would be desirable
Ability to produce drawings for the structural engineering team would be desirable
Excellent communicator and team worker with an eagerness to learn, committed to providing high quality service to our clients
