Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire

Salary: £85 - £95 per day

Simply Education is currently seeking a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school community in Hanley. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team environment and make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Assist with the implementation of individual education plans for students with special educational needs.
Support students in their learning, offering guidance and encouragement as needed.
Help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supervise students during lessons and recreational activities.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A patient and empathetic approach to working with young people.
Willingness to undergo relevant training as needed.
