Description

The role of Inventory Controller in Coventry will involve:

Performing critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock.
Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
Processing and dispatching all returns in a timely manner.
Liaising with third-party hauliers.
Troubleshooting quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
Developing and implementing improvements to existing operational procedures.
Liaising with customers and engineers.
Prepare analysis on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
Monitoring budgets and processing invoices/credit notes.Profile

A successful Inventory Controller should have:

A keen understanding of stock management and logistics processes.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Proficiency in IT, ideally a good knowledge of Excel and SAP.
Strong communication skills.
An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
A pro-active approach to challenging and investigating discrepancies.
