Finance Assistant - About The Role

In this role you will be working within a finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the Head of Finance. You will be supporting with the daily running of the finance function as well as supporting in other areas when needed.

Your key responsibilities will be:

* Full management of the Accounts Payable function, resolving queries with suppliers and setting up payments

* Checking and processing all invoices in a timely manner

* Setting up bank payment runs

* Raising invoices and overseeing the small Credit Control function

* Assisting with the month end management accounts process and generating any necessary figures

* Supporting the HOF in completing any necessary financial reports

* Reconciling the bank account on Xero, bank reconciliation and petty cash

* Working with the finance team to ensure the function is running effectively and efficiently

The successful Finance Assistant will have/be:

* Previous experience in a finance/accounts position

* Working experience of Xero would be beneficial

* AAT or QBE candidates will be considered

* Strong communication skills

* Good IT skills
