Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 9am-4pm
We are working with an established client based in Telford who currently have a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Sales Administrator. The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that their customer requirements are met in full for every order and to support the sales teams to gain new business, by actively promoting products and delivering best in class service.
In addition to the salary the company offers 24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, an annual discretionary bonus, contributory pension scheme, an early finish on Friday plus access to hundreds of other perks and benefits via their reward and recognition platform.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Operation of sales administration systems and procedures including order entry, invoicing, processing and monitoring of sales orders from receipt to completion
* Work in conjunction with the logistics departments and field sales personnel to ensure correct specification and timely delivery of orders
* Support the field sales teams through the provision of information and general sales administration. Carry out any duties considered necessary and appropriate to the role as defined by the line manager
* Deal with customer enquiries in the most appropriate way according to the level and type of enquiry
* Assist with general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Sales Administration team
* Liaise directly with Head Office departments as necessary
* Manage customer service issues in a timely and efficient manner. Escalate actions to the sales teams where applicable in order to resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties
* Export sales administration including generation and processing of export sales documentation to non-UK customers
* To maintain and strive to improve the company’s current health, safety and environmental procedures
Skills and Experience
• Proven experience as a sales administrator
• Excellent customer service skills
• SAP knowledge preferable but not essential
• Good communication skills
• Team Player
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
