Skills | Experience of working within a Manufacturing facility, operating production lines, fitting parts to machinery and equipment and understanding H&S protocols.

Due to continued growth, my client a UK Leading Manufacturer situated in Worsley, Manchester is looking for a Machine Operator to add to their growing team.

The Role:

* Operate production line equipment such as conveyor line, hoists, airlines

* Manufacture goods on a production line

* Cut and shape parts and tools such as Lathes, Grinders and borers

* Pack goods with protective materials ready for shipment in crates, stillages or other containers

* Set and operate hand-controlled or computer-controlled machines

* Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks

* Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products

* Fit parts to machinery and equipment

* Seal containers using appropriate materials such as glue, staples or shrink wrap

* record how much raw material has been used during production and the number of items produced

* Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery

* Report equipment faults to maintenance engineers

What We Are Looking For:

* The candidate understands all aspects of Health and Safety protocols

* Team player, balanced and confident within their work

* Adaptable and flexible with a positive professional attitude

* Self motivated, hard working and results driven

Qualifications:

* Ideally the candidate has experience of working within a Manufacturing company previously (Desirable)

* At least 1 year experience of Machine Operating

* Someone who has ambition and wants to progress

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
