As a School Improvement Officer, you'll work with school leaders to deliver effective school improvement strategies, evaluate performance, and accelerate improvements across primary and secondary schools. From curriculum design to school-to-school support, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every student has access to high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and monitor school improvement plans and performance data.
Collaborate with local education partners to drive improvements and support transitions.
Identify and promote best practices across the education sector.
Lead and support schools through Ofsted inspections and post-inspection improvements.
Contribute to the strategic development of city-wide school improvement initiatives.Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status with senior leadership experience (Headteacher, Deputy Head, or Local Authority school improvement level)
Up-to-date knowledge of national education developments and expertise in school improvement strategies
Thorough understanding of the Ofsted framework and experience leading a school through a successful inspection
Strong skills in data analysis, curriculum design, teaching, and learning strategies
Proven leadership and teamwork abilities, with excellent communication and feedback skills
