Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are recruiting for our client, a global supply chain manufacturing organisation based in Edinburgh. We are looking to recruit an experienced Internal Communications Lead, on an interim basis estimated to last 12 months.

You will support with the internal communications strategy for a global IT/digital transformation change programme, ensuring you are reaching internal teams using a variety of innovative methods and tools whilst effectively managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:

Create the communication and stakeholder engagement strategy and plan and coordination of all programme communication activities.
Maintain and evolve approved narrative, key messages, benefits and communications blueprint to underpin communication activities covering cultural, process and functional and stakeholder viewpoints.
Evolve messages, sharing successes to ensure regular drumbeat of news on the programme.
Identify, utilise or create effective communication channels for deploying communications for senior stakeholders and the business applying a global, and local perspective ensuring that we are role modelling the digital change through our engagement with all stakeholder groups.
Coordinate the deployment of communication campaigns to engage stakeholders and impacted business communities for adoption of ways of working.
Design and deliver programme engagement events to foster strong stakeholder engagement through two-way interactions.
Introduce and leverage the power of data and analytics capabilities to measure effectiveness of communications from message reach, channel effectiveness and take remediation actions as needed.
Manage the third-party service provider in their communications remit.Background Required

Degree educated in relevant business or subject.
Extensive experience in planning and managing in-house communications campaigns including creating content that successfully supports people through change for complex transformational projects within a global organisation, ideally related to IT/digital.
Experience in stakeholder event delivery and operating with senior stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of corporate communication channels and ability to innovate to generate excitement and increase engagement.
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills and ability effectively target and tailor the message to various audience groups.
Strong IT skills with relevant platforms such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Viva Engage, Teams, etc
