Description

Plan and manage the routing of deliveries and collections to achieve maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and report on transport performance, ensuring all service levels are met.
Communicate effectively with customers, responding to their needs and managing their expectations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and transport legislation.
Work closely with other departments to facilitate the smooth running of operations.
Identify areas of improvement and implement changes as necessary.
Manage and resolve any issues or disruptions in the transport plan.
Lead and motivate the logistics team to achieve their goals.Profile

A successful Traffic Planner should have:

A solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
Experience in a similar role within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.
Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer enquiries effectively.
