Our Water construction client are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team working on their Severn Trent Water framework working on their Worcester Wastewater treatment works.

The position is a salaried, full time permanent role with hybrid working across site, office and home.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Natural Resources team supporting them in managing the commercial aspects of schemes between £5m-£20m in value on both clean and dirty water treatment plants. These projects are of a civils / MEICA nature, looking at upgrade and resilience works of these established sites. The main initial site this commercial role will look after is the Worcester Wastewater Treatment works.

Managing the commercial resources (people and finance) of assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts
Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
Completing and supporting the authorisation and submission of project variations
Maximising cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers

Skills/experience/qualifications

You hold a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
Experience working with complex civil projects within the water industry.
NEC3/4 experience ideal
