Job Description: As a Fire Damper Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire dampers in commercial buildings. You will ensure that all fire safety systems are functioning correctly and comply with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Installation: Install fire dampers in HVAC systems according to design specifications and building codes.

* Inspection: Perform regular inspections of fire dampers to ensure they are in good working condition.

* Maintenance: Conduct maintenance and repairs on fire dampers, ensuring they function properly and meet safety standards.

* Testing: Carry out functional and performance tests on fire dampers to verify their effectiveness.

* Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

* Customer Service: Interact with clients to explain the status of their fire dampers and any necessary actions or repairs.

Qualifications:

* Experience: Previous experience in fire damper installation, inspection, and maintenance preferred.

* Certifications: Relevant certifications in fire protection systems or HVAC preferred.

* Knowledge: Strong understanding of fire safety codes, standards, and regulations.

* Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require physical exertion
