Due to some amazing growth opportunities, we have a new home in the Tadley area and are hiring Therapeutic Practitioners / Support Workers to join our new Children's home. This role has a starting salary of £23,795.20 per annum based on a 40-hour week plus your earn more with sleep in's (£45 for a weekday sleep-in and £50 at the weekend) additional overtime is available should you wish to do more shifts.

Please note, if you are non-british citizen and currently living in the UK looking for a role within our residential service, you must have a minimum of 2 years left on your visa.

About the role

As a Children's Residential Worker, you will be a positive role model for the children within Amegreen Children’s Services, offering care and support to children with Learning Disabilities providing structure, consistency, and nurturing as part of day-to-day living, always ensuring the safety of each child. You will build effective relationships with the children, support them with routine (personal care may be required), join the children in activities and holidays, creating meaningful care plans, working together with parents, teachers, therapists, and social workers, write reports and ensuring records are kept clear and up to date. These are just some examples of the work you will do that will support our children and young people with their everyday lives.

There will be great days where you will laugh, play games and bring joy to the children but there will be times where the children may shout, swear and cry, but by listening to them, guiding, and offering comfort during challenging times through your kindness, you will find this role really rewarding and see more of those great days
