Our organisation is looking for a Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at our 92 bedded nursing home Fern Gardens which is overall good with CQC.
You will work alongside the dual registered manager and support them with the management of the nursing home and support to the clinical team with their duties.
This home is a large multi-site care home catering for the care for the elderly. It has good occupancy, a great reputation and a really dedicated team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the clinical staff with nursing expertise.
* Organise and supervise clinical staff and develop their professional abilities in line with the hospital’s policies, methods and procedures.
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by nurses and report issues in a timely manner.
* Ensure that junior nurses are properly trained.
* Identify potential complaints and resolve them before they become a problem for patients, the hospital or other nurses.
* Provide coaching on leadership skills to nursing staff.
* Manage conflict resolution and workplace disputes.
* Coordinate activities for nurses in related fields, and share information with them.
You must be:
* A registered nurse with experience of managing a team;
* Must have couple years’ experience as a senior nurse;
* Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services;
* Experienced in working in the healthcare sector;
* Driven and motivated and believe in quality care;
* An energetic, committed and approachable manager;
* An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through obvious passion and commitment.
