This is a brand new role within our business, offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact in a fast-evolving organisation.

Role Overview:

As the Compliance Coordinator, you will report to the Compliance Manager and play a vital role in overseeing and maintaining control of quality, health, safety, and environmental performance for both the company and its subcontractors. This role demands strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple work streams across various disciplines. You will also need the ability to influence at all levels, up to senior leadership.

A background in Quality Assurance, Environmental Management, and/or Health and Safety is preferred. Experience in delivering training would be advantageous. While industry-specific knowledge in Fire Protection and Security is not required, it would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

Health and Safety:
Keep the Health and Safety Policy up to date.
Manage Safety certifications.
Coordinate Health & Safety consultation and communication across the business.
Training:
Maintain training records for all employees.
Ensure required training is carried out.
Liaise with department managers to coordinate technical or role-specific training.
Deliver training on QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental) policies and processes.
Document and Process Management:
Ensure all company master documents and processes are maintained and fit for purpose.
Audit:
Monitor outcomes of technical audits conducted by each department.
Report on trends and share areas of good practice with the wider business.
Customer Feedback:
Maintain records of customer compliments, complaints, and other feedback.
Environmental Performance:
Track, monitor, measure, and report on the company's environmental performance.
Human Resources:
Maintain employee records on the HR system.
DBS, Screening, and Vetting:
Ensure all necessary checks are carried out and records maintained.
Subcontractor Management:
Ensure subcontractor information is properly recorded and that they continue to meet quality and safety standards.
Building and Equipment Maintenance:
Coordinate maintenance of the HQ building and statutory inspections of pressure vessels and lifting equipment.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Background in Quality Assurance, Environmental Management, and/or Health and Safety. Experience in the Fire Protection and Security industry is a plus.
Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple work-streams.
Influence: Ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.
Training: Experience in delivering training is advantageous.
