About the role:
As a part-time KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing the intellectual and emotional growth of our young students. You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with another experienced teacher, sharing responsibilities and ideas to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll be able to focus on delivering high-quality, differentiated instruction that meets the diverse needs of your students.
Your teaching will be guided by our school’s values of respect, curiosity, and resilience, ensuring that every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. This role offers the flexibility of part-time hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while still making a significant impact in the classroom.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for all applicants.
• Experience in KS1: Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create and deliver exciting, interactive lessons that cater to the individual learning styles of your students, ensuring a high level of engagement and understanding.
• Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with your teaching partner and TA to share ideas, resources, and strategies that enhance the learning experience.
• Assess Student Progress: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of the class.
• Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Maintain a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere where all students feel respected and motivated to learn.
