About the role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our friendly team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. This role has become available due to the addition of a new class to accommodate our growing student body.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who loves working with young children and wants to make a difference in a supportive, dynamic school environment. You will be teaching a delightful class of 25 pupils, offering a nurturing and structured learning experience. Our school prides itself on maintaining small class sizes to ensure each child receives the individual attention they deserve, and you will have the support of a full-time Teaching Assistant.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching Key Stage 1.
• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• A passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their development.
• Experience with SEN students and differentiated instruction to cater to a variety of learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe, respected, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure continuous development.
• Work collaboratively with the Teaching Assistant to provide additional support for students with special educational needs.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and contribute to the broader school community.
