📍 Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Secondary School Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to secondary school students with SEND, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their academic goals.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Demonstrate a good sense of humour while engaging with students, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
Utilise excellent initiative to adapt support strategies based on individual student needs and learning styles.
Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure effective support provision.Requirements:

Prior experience working with students with SEND in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of different children's needs and learning styles, with the ability to tailor support accordingly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a supportive and empathetic approach.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the overall success of the school.
Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development opportunities as required.Benefits:
