The Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join and support our dynamic Commercial team. You will thrive in a supportive learning environment that fosters personal development and provides ample opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, document, and handle financial and project-related transactions.
Analyse project expenses and generate monthly cost reports, including commentary on any discrepancies.
Conduct site visits for inspections.
Collaborate with various stakeholders in the construction and professional team, including clients.
Assess completed work and manage payment applications.
Utilise systems and processes to effectively measure commercial performance.
Assist in generating accurate, up-to-date monthly reports (Cost Value Reconciliations) and projections of final outcomes.
Participate in meetings on-site or at other locations with Site Teams, Clients, Suppliers, and other relevant parties as needed.
Provide administrative support to the Commercial and Sales teams, along with handling miscellaneous tasks.

Requirements

Although prior experience is preferred, candidates should have a basic understanding of the Quantity Surveyor role, possess strong analytical skills, and show a genuine interest in the construction industry. After joining, further training and development opportunities will be provided, including the possibility of pursuing a university degree with sponsorship.
