An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's leading Facilities Management companies to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. This is a great opportunity to work for a forward-thinking organisation who are leaders in their field.
The position will join an established Safety, Health & Environmental team. This role will be operating in a dynamic, fast paced environment covering a major public sector contract across Manchester, Liverpool & Huddersfield with the aim to reduce Energy Use & Carbon Emissions within Schools.
Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:
Travel to sites across Manchester, Liverpool & Huddersfield, delivering a regular inspection and audit program, ensuring the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environment policies
Working closely with the Health, Safety and Environment team to identify areas for performance improvement and creating ideas to take advantage of these
Accurately reporting on Health and Safety performance, investigating and accidents and incidents, identifying the root cause The successful Health and Safety Advisor candidate will have:
Ideally experience in a similar role with relevant sector e.g. Facilities Management.
NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate and ideally membership of IOSH
Good communications skills with experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders
Good knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance and regulationsThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional and forward-thinking organisation and develop your career further.
