Description

We are working with a Structural Steel Manufacturer who are looking for a Operations Manager to join their site based in Llandrindod Wells.

Responsibilities/The Candidate

Experience/background working in structural steel on different projects.
Experience/background in the day to day running of a steel fabrication environment.
Experience within Fabrication, Welding, Planned, Preventative Maintenance and repair.
Responsible for the entire site including Engineering, H&S, People, Costs, Production, Quality, Technical and Training/Upskilling.
Ensure Daily, Weekly and Monthly KPI targets are up to date and achieved in an efficient manner and forecast production planning.
Communicating with the design team ensuring they are working towards the same timings for each project.
Working with the procurement team ensure material quotes are in line with budget.
Ensuring all toolbox talks are carried out by each Team Leader and Supervisor.
Experience in reviewing and implementing new CI and Lean Manufacturing Techniques.The Salary
