Position Overview

This role plays a crucial role in the organisation. You will liaise with the Marketing Department, the legal team, and various internal departments, ensuring all products meet legal, nutritional, and labelling requirements. Your understanding of food legislation and quality control will guide the development of our client's key products, while your technical skills will facilitate the maintenance of product data and information systems.

Responsibilities

* Advise on legal, nutrition, and labelling matters associated with brand development.

* Generate pack copy information and facilitate the artwork sign-off process.

* Maintain data within company's Product Data Management system.

* Monitor legislation and legal requirements to stay informed and current.

* Identify and resolve labelling non-conformances and suggest improvements.

* Compile legally compliant ingredient declarations based on raw material specifications and recipes.

* Manage routine confirmation of nutrition data with internal and external laboratories.

* Handle consumer queries concerning recipe information.

* Prepare ingredients and nutritional information in line with local legislative requirements for export customers.

* Complete requisite technical documents for customers and retailers

Requirements

* Minimum of 4 GCSE’s including Maths, English, and Sciences

* At least 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing Quality department

* Proficient knowledge of food legislation, nutrition, and food-related applications

* Fluency with Word, Excel, and SAP

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented

* Ability to work across various departments.
