About the Role
Due to natural growth, my client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team, tackling diverse projects in commercial, retail, and healthcare sectors across the southeast. As the Electrical Project Manager, you'll spearhead impactful initiatives, shaping our built environment with your expertise. Your role will be pivotal in executing electrical systems flawlessly, enhancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability. You'll also:
* Receive and examine drawings and specifications provided by clients or main contractors.
* Address any discrepancies with clients promptly and effectively.
* Ensure that all work is executed to meet high-quality standards.
* Optimize profitability for each contract undertaken.
* Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients and main contractors.
* Thoroughly and clearly complete all necessary company documentation.
* Document any changes to contracts and furnish relevant details to Quantity Surveyors.
* Aid in processing interim and final account payments.
* Generate monthly cost-to-complete (WIP) reports for all ongoing projects.
* Review tender information for each project upon transfer from the Estimating Team.
Requirements
* At least 3 years experience working as an Electrical Project Manager.
* Experience delivering projects up to £11m electrically.
* Experience working on commercial, retail and healthcare projects.
* The Ability to maintain relationships between clients and subcontractors.
* A valid SMST
* HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
