Leaders In Care are looking for a Clinic Nurse to join a brand new, state of the art hospital in Taunton. You will be joining the UK’s leading independent provider of Ophthalmic services and one of the largest providers of NHS cataract surgery in the UK with a salary up to £38,000 and a 10% bonus every year.

You don’t need Ophthalmic experience as full training is provided. If you’re looking for a great work life balance then this job is for you The shift pattern is full-time 4 days per week, working 7:30am – 5:30pm, meaning no evenings and only 1 in 4 saturdays.

Benefits for Clinic Nurse:

Salary up to £38,000
4-day shifts – (7.30am-5.30pm)
No evenings and only 1 in 4 weekends
Continuous training and development programme
Bonus 1 – June – Up to 5% individual performance related bonus
Bonus 2 – February – Up to 5% hospital/company related bonus
Annual pay reviews and increases
25 days holiday (33 days including bank holidays) increasing with length of service
Company pension schemeResponsibilities for Clinic Nurse:

Administer drugs in accordance with the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines.
Undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available.
To always ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.
Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.Criteria for Clinic Nurse:

A current NMC registration
12 months post-registration experience as Registered Nurse / RGN / Staff Nurse
