Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role within this manufacturer. They are a well-established business and are going through a period of sustained growth. As an ambitious company, they are now looking to expand their maintenance team to maintain and repair their machinery critical to meeting their production targets.
This role will be ideal for someone who is seeking outstanding earning potential alongside opportunities for training, development and progression.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to minimise production equipment downtime
* Carry out mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance routines to maximise equipment reliability, to reduce breakdown risk
* Seeking areas for improvement and recommending to Shift Leaders and Management
* Regularly check operation of plant and equipment to meet production, safety requirements
* Provide regular feedback and recommendations to improve the operability of plant machinery and equipment and reduce maintenance costs
* Participate in mechanical and electrical project work to achieve planned goals
Qualifications
* Multi-skilled and able to fault-find mechanically and electrically. Either bias will be considered.
* It is essential to have experience in a manufacturing environment.
* A logical mindset towards fault-finding with the ability to spot areas for improvements or long-term corrective measures
* Suitably qualified
