We are seeking a dedicated Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with all relevant regulations. As a regulated business, it is essential that the candidate is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has a strong understanding of the related legislation.
You will be supported by an experienced Operations and Central team, along with an on-site Deputy Manager, Administrator, and Hospitality and Housekeeping teams, all working together to provide exceptional care for our residents.

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
Recruit, train, and retain skilled care professionals committed to delivering person-centred care.
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain the highest standards of care.
Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services.
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
Oversee administrative tasks to ensure timely and efficient completion.
Continuously monitor and improve the home’s performance.
Manage risks effectively to ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff.Skills and Attributes

Previous experience managing a nursing or residential home.
Strong working knowledge of CQC standards, with a proven track record of achieving high ratings.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external parties.
Proven marketing and business acumen within the private care sector.
Passionate about providing high levels of person-centred care.
Ability to contribute to the growth and development of care services.Education and Qualifications

Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).Benefits
