Venture Co0ntracts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee an upcoming office fit-out project in a listed building. This project, which commences in two weeks, requires a professional who can manage the unique challenges of working with listed buildings and ensure that the project remains on track and within scope. The project is expected to take approximately six months. Rates are negotiable based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Project Management: Lead and manage the office fit-out project from initiation to completion, ensuring it meets all specified requirements and standards.

* Compliance and Standards: Ensure all work complies with listed building regulations and standards.

* Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and site workers, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

* Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure the highest standard of work is achieved.

* Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for the client, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

* Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise on site to avoid project delays.

* Health and Safety: Ensure all health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to on site.

* Project Pace: Maintain project pace and ensure timely completion of all phases.

Requirements

* Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in site management, specifically with office fit-outs and listed buildings.

* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.

* Knowledge: In-depth understanding of listed building regulations and office fit-out processes.

* Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

* Availability: Must be available to start in two weeks and commit to the full six-month project duration.
