Located in a culturally rich area of Ealing, our school is easily accessible via public transport and surrounded by lovely parks and local amenities, making it a perfect place for students and staff alike.
About the role:
We are seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. This role is specifically focused on providing boosters for low-achieving students to help them reach their full potential. The position offers a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day and is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator looking to make a difference. This role is available due to a new addition to our team as we expand our support for our students. The TA will work with small groups of students, typically around 6-8 children, providing targeted interventions and support. The part-time commitment requires working three days a week.
Application Requirements:
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 1.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and experience supporting low-achieving students.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and interventions.
• Working closely with students who require additional support to boost their academic achievement.
• Creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Monitoring and assessing students’ progress and providing feedback.
