Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the early stages of a child's education? We are seeking a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive primary school in Southwark, South East London. This position is to cover a maternity leave starting after the half-term break in November 2024.

About the Role:

Teach a Year 1 class, showcasing a love for learning and supporting the development of key skills.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Work closely with colleagues to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum in line with the National Curriculum.What We Are Looking For:

Experience teaching in Year 1 or Key Stage 1 is ideal, though all teaching experience will be considered.
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for your students.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.What We Offer:

A daily rate paid to scale, reflective of your experience and pay scale (£218 - £257 per day).
