About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. The role is available due to an internal promotion, highlighting the growth opportunities within our school.

With a salary of £100 – £120 per day, you will be working closely with our experienced teaching staff to support and enhance the learning experience of our students. In this role, you will be primarily working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, with an average class size of 25 students.

You will be responsible for leading small group sessions, providing one-on-one support, and occasionally covering classes in the absence of the main teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on our students’ educational journey.

Application Requirements:

• A relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience working with primary school children, particularly in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons in collaboration with class teachers.

• Lead small group interventions and provide targeted support to individual students.

• Cover classes and manage the classroom in the absence of the main teacher.

• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
