About the role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will support the educational and social development of students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role is a full-time, long-term position due to a new addition to our expanding team.

You will work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assist with administrative tasks, and provide targeted support to students with SEN. Our small class sizes, averaging 20-25 students, ensure a supportive and personalised learning environment.

Application Requirements:

• A HLTA qualification or equivalent.

• Experience working in a primary school setting, particularly with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students.

• A strong understanding of SEN needs and strategies to support students effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons and activities in collaboration with class teachers.

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with SEN.

• Assist with the assessment and tracking of student progress.

• Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
