Responsibilities:

As a Social Work Assistant, you will:

- Work closely with social work managers to provide high-quality services to children and families.

- Assist in implementing support, protection, and care plans under the guidance of senior staff.

- Contribute to the overall assessment process of cases, ensuring the needs of children and families are met effectively.

- Coordinate and deliver services to support children and families, including attending Trust meetings and contributing to reports.

- Uphold professional standards and adhere to NISCC codes of conduct, ensuring the delivery of best practices in all aspects of your work.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C)

- At least 3 years of experience in a social care role

- Registration with NISCC on the Social Care Register

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and respond sensitively to the needs of service users & young people

- Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI check

- Provide up to date immunization records including MMR for the completion of a full occupational health review

- Drivers licence highly desitrable
