Role Highlights:

Specialised Support: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide individualised assistance to children with Autism in the hub, ensuring they receive the tailored support necessary to succeed.
Collaborative Environment: Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing classroom setting.Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering customised lessons that meet the unique needs of students with Autism.
Provide one-on-one or small group support, focusing on the specific learning and developmental needs of each pupil.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels safe, respected, and valued.
Help prepare lesson materials and organise classroom activities.
Monitor and record student progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents as needed.Requirements:

Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant is highly desirable, particularly in supporting children with Autism.
Strong understanding of special educational needs and effective strategies for supporting pupils with Autism.
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
