The Position:

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled HGV Commercial Mechanic / Workshop Engineer to join a fully equipped with state-of-the-art tools & equipment workshop in Thame. This full-time, permanent role involves working Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The successful individual will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy goods & material handling vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Tasks:

* Performing repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on HGV equipment.

* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.

* Completing all necessary documentation to company standards.

* Ensuring all vehicles meet legal and company standards.

* Managing parts and supplies inventory as needed.

* Delivering excellent customer service to clients.

Skills and Experience:

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, such as automotive, agricultural, construction equipment, PSV, HGV, LGV, or plant. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker who delivers precise and accurate work, is well-organised, and excels both independently and as part of a team. We seek someone who possesses:

* In-depth mechanical experience, including strong diagnosis and repair skills.

* Excellent servicing and fault-finding skills.

* Good electrical knowledge.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

* A professional and helpful attitude.

* Experience with hydraulics and electrical equipment is an advantage; however, training will be provided as required.

* The ability to manage and prioritize workloads effectively.
