About the role

Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager
Accountable for the delivery of a large sized project; or be accountable for the delivery of multiple medium sized projects / subsystems / technologies. 
Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end project milestones and goals.
Act as the single point of contact responsible for project schedule, cost, risks, and scope
Generate a suitable Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that enables level 0, 1, 2 and 3 plans to be developed; track progress and provide updates to the programme team and key stakeholders as required.
Ensure a suitable responsibility matrix (RACI) has been generated for each project.
Develop a RAID log for each project. For all risks ensure a suitable mitigate is in place
The right candidate

Educated to Degree level in a suitable Technical/Engineering/Science discipline
Qualified in Project or Programme Management (e.g. APM PMQ, Prince2), or equivalent experience
Experience of influencing and managing across global teams
Significant demonstrable experience of managing complex technical programmes, projects spanning multiple phases/years to time, spec, and cost; have experience in managing projects with software content
Able to analyse complex programme requirements and generate a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) as part of high-level programme definition
Experience of project planning tools (such as Microsoft Project), processes and methodologies
Experience of RAID logs (Risk, Actions, Issues and Decisions)
