Logistics Coordinator

A great opportunity for a highly organised individual to join a busy team as a Logistics Coordinator
Role responsibilities include;
* Manage transport requirements effectively and in line with targets
* Manage transport bookings through 3rd party logistics (3PL) partners to meet on time client delivery requirements
* Provide high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers.
* Manage and monitor Department KPI's
* Maintain database through accurate data input
* Coordinate client requests to return goods
* Manage orders through to delivery
* Produce schedules to meet customer delivery requirements within business lead times
* Review and manage schedules with Production team
* Escalate any issues with capacity levels
* Purchase goods to maintain stock and customer demand
* Manage the on-time delivery of components in line with demand
* Monitor delivery performance of suppliers
Key skills required;
* Logistics experience
* Strong Customer Service and Administration skills
* Computer literacy - MS Office
* Strong communication and team working skills
* Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines
* Problem solving skills
This role will be fully office-based Mon-Fri
