An exciting opportunity for Quantity Surveyors to join my client on various new fit-out construction projects across central London. My client is at the forefront of a mixture of high-end development and has a reputation for driving innovation and excellence throughout their projects.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of exciting projects in and around London. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the commercial and contractual package of work across the project, ensuring cost control, and maximizing profitability. Utilising your expertise with contracts, you will provide strategic guidance and support to the project teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the commercial team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of the project in hand.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets, monitor costs, and manage financial reporting.
• Procurement and management of subcontractors whilst ensuring costs fall within pre-agreed budgeting.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient contract administration and compliance.
• Lead procurement activities, including tendering and contract negotiation.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets, monitor costs, and manage financial reporting.
• Analyse project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements
• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a similar construction environment
• Fit out Experience required
• Degree- Quantity Surveying or another relevant subject.
• Registered with the RICS / CICES and/or working towards professional chartership - preferable
• Excellent working knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC & JCT) and standard methods of measurements
• Commercial experience working on highend buildings
