About the Company:
Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing main contractor with a strong background in MEP who have recently expanded into Fit Out Construction. With an ambitious and young team at the helm, they are delivering high-quality fit-out projects across Central London. As the company continues to grow, they are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team and contribute to the success of their exciting ventures.

Role Overview:
The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of M&E and fit-out projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the projects are delivered within budget and in line with company standards. Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the cost control and commercial management of fit-out projects from inception to completion.

* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project budgets are maintained and variations are managed effectively.

* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and value completed work.

* Identify potential financial risks and opportunities to maximise profitability.

* Prepare and present cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts to senior management.

* Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project timelines.

* Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating favourable terms.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within M&E, Fit Out or Construction projects.

* Strong knowledge of MEP and fit-out processes.

* Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Proficient in relevant software and IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, cost management systems).

* Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, BSc Quantity Surveying or similar).
