We are hiring for an experienced, self motivated solar installer with an understanding of all sector types . 

The Role -

▪ Configure, install, and wire full PV solar systems, including the electrical wiring and fixtures, inverters, isolators, battery etc with connection to local power grid, to engineering, electrical and industry standards.

▪ Install and wiring of loft lighting, smoke alarms, room ventilation and all other associated fixtures and fitting for the installation.

▪ Assessing the quality and control of installations, ensuring strict compliance, electrical systems and ensure proper functionality.

▪ Fault finding/troubleshooting, Repair/Remedial works and maintenance

▪ Perform necessary testing to ensure safety and efficiency, sign off/commission

▪ Remedial works to installs patching, filling making good

▪ Picking up stock and ordering materials for installations

▪ Preparation of standard documentation and reports

▪ Troubleshoot, resolving problems, ensuring work is completed to guarantee optimal performance and customer satisfaction

▪ Working within a small team, leading your own jobs and dealing with clients.

Adherence to Regulations and Health and Safety at all times.

What is needed:

▪ Minimum NVQ level 3, City and Guilds 18th Edition

▪ City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)

▪ Previous Solar PV Installation experience/ Solar PV Qualification

▪ BPEC Solar PV ▪ Full UK Driving Licence

▪ Willing to travel between jobs some working away when required.

▪ Tech savvy, strong interpersonal and administrative skills.

▪ Proactive and problem solver, able to prioritise workload provided

▪ CSCS or Gold ECS card

MUST HAVE:

18th Electrical Certification (required)

Desirable

▪ Domestic Ventilation Part F Building Regs

▪ Supervisory Experience
