Job Description:
As a Finance Manager at the company, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of the organisation. Reporting directly to the company Directors, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, from payroll and accounts payable to budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Manage payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and procurement processes
Maintain accurate financial records
Conduct weekly bank reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy
Monitor cash flow and prepare budgeting and forecasting reports
Analyse income and expenditure data and present findings to senior management
Complete required financial processes such as VAT returns
Process staff expenses in a timely manner
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and develop financial management strategies
Produce financial reports and provide recommendations to maximise profits
Key Skills:
Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain professionalism
Knowledge of financial management principles and practices
Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
Financial qualification and experience with subcontractors are desirable but not essential

Willingness to learn and adapt to new policies and procedures
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial matters
Flexibility to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of the company
