Our client caters to a diverse clientele, including system integrators, manufacturers, and test houses in industries such as aerospace, military, transport, security, and building automation. These sectors demand high-quality, non-standard products, coupled with long-term support, where quality, conformance, and reliability are of utmost importance.

Duties:

* Execute day-to-day operations within the Configuration and Service Department, following established procedures.

* Collaborate as part of the business team to support budgetary forecasting aligned with company objectives.

* Uphold and enhance the quality of work produced, ensuring it meets company standards.

* Ensure tools and equipment necessary for the department's functions are available, properly maintained, and calibrated.

* Follow and update work instructions to accurately reflect Configuration and Service work practices.

* Provide technical support to customer services and subcontractors.

* Assist the Goods Inward department with product inspection and testing when needed.

* Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and departments, demonstrating respect and cooperation as a member of the team.

* Contribute to process improvement efforts by adhering to Lean principles.

* Adhere to ISO9001:2000 procedures consistently.

* Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills Required for Effective Performance:

* Proficient general communication skills.

* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

* BTEC or City & Guilds qualified
